A beautiful, authentic Alentejo-style Villa with spacious rooms, 2 bathrooms and well equipped kitchen with 2 fridges(no freezer), oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, water boiler, blender, and enough nice dishes, glasses, cutlery to prepare a beautiful dining table.
New this year is the pool bar next to the swimming pool, it has a basic kitchen with microwave and mini fridge which gives you the easy access for your cold glass of wine or beer while lounging at the pool.
The villa is located in an urbanised area in the Costa Vicentina National Park, one of Portugal's best locations for walks & cycling. There is a great little getaway on a 20 min walking distance from the house which is a beautiful, quiet lake perfect to swim or to walk around. On another 20 min walking distance you get to the cliffs and archeological estate of Atalaya and enjoy an amazing sunset.
On a 15 min walking distance of the house there is a beautiful lake, and there are 3 surf locations nearby, namely the world famous Arrifana, Amoreira and
Monte Clerigo beaches are within a five minute drive from the villa.
This Nature Reserve offers a stunning coastline, beautiful landscapes, old villages and has numerous beaches to be explored. There is a famous 200km hiking trail called ´ The Rota Vicentina´ or ´Fisherman´s road´ that is following the coastline. There is an entrance to this trail on a 5 min walking distance of the house which allows you to discover parts of this beautiful trail with amazing views.
There are also other activities to do like horse riding, mountain biking, tennis, watching dolphins, yoga classes etc.
Lagos, 23 km, is the closest 'city', it looks more like a town, cute and always something going on :)
Aljezur is just a 5 min drive away, and a big supermarket as well as other useful shops are available.
The location is used often for yoga retreat organizers and since you have a stunning 30m2 yoga deck why not book your private teacher as a perfect addition to your stay in Algarve
A nice plus is the company of our lovely, young female cat Misty;)) She lives in winter time in the house and in rental time in the garage next to the house which is the staff´s space. She might hop in ´your home´ and cuddle with you or eat some food from her bowl. So we appreciate guests who love cats, cause Misty loves people and is very playful and friendly.
The pool will be cleaned 1x week and the garden might need maintenance if necessary during your stay. We also like your comprehension that we have 1 washing machine for 2 houses and it might happen that the house manager, Eve, needs to use it once a week, she then can offer to do some of your laundry and give a towel change.
