Stay in a beautifully renovated chapel, first built in 1789 and one of the cornerstones of Sintra. Private outdoor lounge area with breathtaking mountain views of the Moorish Castle. Only 3 minutes walk to Sintra Station as well as the main meeting point for sightseeing tours. Walking distance to all the beautiful quaint cafes, shops and restaurants of Sintra’s old town.
The chapel was built in 1789 and is one of the historical corner stones of Sintra. Situated in the heart of Sintra, you are able to reach a variety of restaurants, antique markets, cafes and sightseeing sites very easily. Daily home made breakfast is included in the price. Ideal for couples looking for a romantic and unique experience, but equally suitable for a family of 4 (an additional queen size sofa bed can accommodate a 3rd and 4th person - the chapel consists of an open plan layout - see our photos). Brand new self contained kitchen with dishwasher and all mods and cons included - fridge, oven, stove, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher etc. Self contained bathroom with walk in shower and underfloor heating throughout the ground level. A water evaporating air cooling unit is available for cooling in the summer (and can also be used for heating in the winter). Large private sunny outdoor terrace with comfy lounge sofas to enjoy breathtaking views of the Moorish Castle.
We have a free parking spot for A CAPELA guests. Parking is at guests own risk, so please do not leave any belongings on display.
The chapel has stairs to access the mezzanine level where the master bedroom is located (no lifts) - please therefore take care using the stairs. We are unfortunately not able to accommodate children under the age of 12.
Strictly no events or parties of any kind allowed.
No smoking or open fires allowed inside the chapel (smoking allowed outside on the terrace, but please disregard of cigarette buds).
