Positive: Hombres is a tiny village, quiet, dreamy, in the middle of mountainous Bairrada. Fausto and his wife made us feel at home, invited us to their farm and to their table for countless aperitivos of their own making. We shared stories, hosts shared their farm's veggies, olive oil and wine with us. Moreover, they provided us with helpful pointers on where to visit in surrounding towns. The house is uniquely preserved and (if I remember correctly) dates back to 19th century. Which doesn't make it any less comfortable :) Cherry on top — access to house's own farmland with grapes and kiwis and multiple other plants growing and making you feel like a small landowner :) We will definitely come back and recommend the place to our friends

Summary: A true home away from home. Got us back to childhood memories of spending summers in grandparents' house in the vill
