Casa Canela is a wonderfully comfortable detached house, located in the countryside in a small quiet villa district, near the charming provincial town of São Brás de Alportel. The house is on one level and everything is available for a nice vacation with the family or with friends. There is a cosy, spacious and bright living room with fireplace and a large, fully equipped semi-open kitchen. All rooms have air conditioning and mosquito nets. Three bedrooms with all three en-suite bathrooms complete this house. In the hedge-fenced and private backyard is the large 8 x 4 meter pool, extending to 2 meters deep. There are plenty of sun and shade spots. There are sun loungers, parasols and of course the typical Portuguese charcoal barbecue! The view from the sheltered veranda and garden is beautiful, because you look at one of the most beautiful natural areas of the Algarve. Casa Canela is by its central but quiet location an excellent place to relax and to use as a base for exploring the Algarve!

Rented mountain bikes can be delivered to the house. At 5 minutes by car is a natural park with hiking trails, a coffee / tapas bar with terrace and picnic areas.
From Faro airport it is only a 20 minute drive to Casa Canela. Loulé is a 15 minute drive away and is popular with its monumental market and cozy streets. The various beaches of the beautiful Ria Formosa and the charming coastal towns of Tavira, Olhão, Fuseta and Faro are within half an hour. From here you can take a boat to one of the islands off the coast. Because of its central location the more chic Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are also within a half hour drive. North you drive from the house through a beautiful hilly landscape within an hour to the renowned wineries of the Alentejo. Fifteen minutes’ drive away is the largest shopping mall in the Algarve: the brand new MAR Shopping.

Through a lockable gate you enter the patio where you can park your car(s). You enter the house through the hall. To the left is the guest toilet. To the right you will find the first bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. A little further is bedroom two, also with a double bed and a large en-suite bathroom with bathtub with shower. The French doors in this bedroom give access to the garden and pool. The third bedroom with 2 single beds is also in the hallway, again with en-suite bathroom with shower. If you walk down the hallway you are in the living room. From here you enter the large, fully equipped kitchen with access to the veranda and garden with swimming pool. From the living room you can also access the veranda and garden with swimming pool.
