Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Our room was very large and bright with a beautiful view of the countryside. The weather was good so we made good use of the table just outside of our sliding doors. The Kitchenette was adequate for our needs. Really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and the area very quiet. We had a large breakfast. Very generous amounts of food. This village is a farming community, which I really enjoyed. The only traffic was farm machinery coming back from the fields. I enjoyed the sounds of the animals and watching the swallows in the evening. Very relaxing.

Negative: There are no restaurants or grocery stores Not a big deal. Just inconvenient. The deck was shared with other guests. We kept our drapes closed for privacy as they had to walk by our windows to take the stairs down. Biggest issue was the deck was used by smokers as a smoke pit. One morning we woke at 6 A.M. because our room stunk of cigarette smoke from someone smoking on the deck without closing the door.
