Positive: Such a lovely setting and beautifully refurbished building - David and Cristelle have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making a lovely place for their home (top floor) and the guest lower level where we stayed (there are also smaller guest apartments and a campsite which are well removed from each other, very private. They are very available for anything needed by guests and gave us lots of advice for Puy du Fou and local interest. The photos don't do it justice. For us it was particularly a refreshing retreat after two hot days at Puy du Fou, but we also loved being able to take the inflatable boat a 15min walk down to the mill - great fun for the kids! Lots of nature at the gite - frogs, bats, and even a kingfisher down at the mill. We would highly recommend!
