Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Think of this as a self-service chalet, best chosen if you're driving as a pit-stop to another destination. We enjoyed the fact that it was on a hill with a view of the valley and nestled in trees.

Negative: The location is set a little off a main road that leads to a local village. Walk down the hill and you'll have small shops. The village is functional and not one set up for tourists. Also, pictures of the resort are likely VERY old as furniture isn't as new as pictures make it appear. Chairs on our balcony, for instance, are weathered with the undersides torn and worn. To be located here, expect to drive. Services like Grab or Bolt aren't likely to come pick you up. While there was a cleaner and helper on-site who helped with basic things, repeated attempts to contact someone offsite to ask questions via email and Whatsapp did not work. Multiple messages were left and not answered. This perhaps was the worst sticking point.

Summary: I would not return.
