This building is in the city center of Lagos and was built in 1920. It was completely refurbished in 2017.
The building has a main entrance for both apartments and a single entrance for each apt. Apartment has 5 bedrooms, living rooms, big and full equipped kitchen, 2 beautiful terraces and other lovely common areas. The satellite TV has English (BBC etc), US, German, French, Italian and Portuguese channels. Each space has air conditioning. No noise (special new windows).
You will have a stunning holiday without having to use a car. Batata beach is only 250 m away, the beaches Meia Praia, Praia Dona Ana, Praia do Camilo are only a few walking minutes away. Nice bakery’s and restaurants are very close to the building; the main street with many bars is close (but far enough because of noise).
It is a perfect location in the city center and unique for a big family or group of friends which would like to spend their holidays together without having to rent different spaces.
The most beautiful shoreline in the world is Portuguese, according to the travel expert team of the Huffington Post (2014). The name of this shoreline is Ponta da Piedade and is located in Lagos, Algarve, only 15 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Condé Nast Traveler recently published a list of those considered to be the 50 best beaches in the world. In addition to the distinguished Dona Ana beach (10 min. Walking distance), which was considered the “best in the world”, they listed three more Portuguese beaches.
Within the natural amphitheater of the Bay of Lagos, which is only a few minutes away, Robert Trent Jones II has fashioned Europe’s next great golf course, Onyria Palmares Golf. The brief given to this exceptional American golf course designer was to craft a 27-hole golf course which maximized the potential of its extraordinary environment. The result is a golf course of breathtaking natural beauty which is a delight to play. The course opened 18 holes for play in October 2010 and the full 27 last June 2011 and it has matured nicely.
Robert Trent Jones II designed the golf course with the highest level of international tournament golf in mind as well as a pleasurable golf experience for members and tourists alike. There is plenty of challenge, if that’s what you want - especially from the white tees! Onyria Palmares Golf is composed of three returning nine-hole loops that can be played in any sequence. The genius in the routing is that, depending on the sequence of play, each golf experience is different. Each nine-hole loop - Alvor, Lagos and Praia - has its own character and ambience.
Kids and Children have many facilities around (walking distance): gardens, playground, mini-golf, watersports (snorkeling, surfing, kitesurfing, canoeing, sailing, paddle).
