Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The place is simple just like its name but felt like home for me. The location is great and peaceful with forest, bamboo trees, and a cool, clear stream beside the house. Walking in the stream was so refreshing! I can also partially see the beach from the house and it's just a short walk across the road. Even on the rainy day, I could just relax on the hammock behind the house. It was chill. I stayed in the smaller room which was good for solo traveler. It is clean, comfortable and well-kept. The house isn't new, but overall, everything is in good condition. I love the idea of using a loincloth as a towel. It feels local and special. The bed and blanket were comfy, and while the fan gave strong wind (which I like), it might be a bit much for a light sleeper. The owner lives on-site and is friendly and down-to-earth—helpful, always around doing things and happy to chat. There are some fun things to so too, like ping pong, a punching bag, and even surfing that you can learn with him. I really enjoyed how simple and relaxed the stay was. It is a great place to stay if you want a chill, down-to-earth place rather than a fancy one.

Negative: There were some cars and motorbikes passing in front of the house during the day, which was a bit noisy for me. But I still enjoyed the sound of birds around the house. At night, it was quiet enough to sleep. Waking up to natural sounds was nice, though if I got up late, more cars noise could be heard. Since the place is close to a stream and surrounded by nature, I saw some small frogs and toads, but not that scary. The guest rooms are upstairs, so I still felt comfortable.

Summary: Simple Stay, Surrounded by Nature. Love It!
