Summary: This villa is really stunning, split over three levels with vast amounts of space, pool and a lovely garden surrounding it and a quiet little town nearby. There were many great aspects to the property, but also a few issues those booking it might want to take into consideration. Definite pluses are the pool and environs - beautiful trees laden with fruit (limes, peaches, oranges, etc). The huge kitchen was appreciated. There's aircon throughout. Easy to have an outstanding time here. A few minuses - 1. A ping pong/table tennis table was clearly listed as available in the VRBO listing, and was even visible in a photograph included on VRBO . We chose the villa from hundreds of others precisely to have access to this specific facility. However, the listing and photograph are misleading - there is actually no table tennis table available in the property. We raised this with the agent but they failed to address the issue during the stay. They promised to escalate the matter - we are still waiting for them to get back to us. A great disappointment. 2. The villa is close to a factory and when we stayed this was in operation, belching black smoke across the hillside, for hours at a time during daytime. The resulting pollution is really quite serious and, to be fair, does impact upon enjoyment of the pool and outside areas. 3. From the get go the drains in the shower/bath units in the property seemed to be clogged, or at least they drained very slowly - this may be normal in this part of the world? Overall a really beautiful place to stay in spite of these few issues - but it was a pity that the VRBO listing was inaccurate.
