Positive: Limited accommodation in Lasarte and this hotel is conveniently located. Large restaurant adjacent but sadly, not open on Sundays. Free street parking very close to hotel.

Negative: I used to stay here regularly when I was working as I did business with a local manufacturer. That was going back a while and we stayed here for nostalgia value but the hotel has seen very little in the way of improvements for 20 years or more, except the foyer. Steep steps from ground level up to the foyer, no ramp. Bathroom facilities very basic as was the room. Breakfast not included, particularly disappointing for the price of the room. We ate when on the road as hotel breakfast wasn't cheap. Check in procedure was hardly welcoming. We stayed on a Sunday night and the town lacked a vibe, as does the hotel. It was tough to find a restaurant open.

Summary: OK for an overnight stopover.
