Summary: Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts). The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns. The guest rooms are nicely appointed, however they are old and need some maintenance to update them. I saw a couple of guest room/barns being renovated while I was there. But even the older room I was in was still spacious and charming. If you feel like having an escape in a forest resort, with nice breakfast and coffee, peaceful gardens, and maybe 20 minutes from Chiang Mai, then check this out.
