Positive: Family of 4 staying 3 nights. We were upgraded to a fabulous room (the Ouessant) on the 4th floor. The view over the river, with the city in the background, was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed was good too but only had a sheet and blanket. We could have asked for extra covers though! The room decor looked a little bit tired but honestly the view was so fab and our stay was very affordable so I'd rather have that then sparkling decor and a higher price tag. Also, it was well-equipped: there were slippers, dressing gowns, a mini-bar, a coffee machine with capsules as well as a kettle with tea and coffee facilities and a water cooler just outside the lift. The toilettries were the Ritual brand. The staff were great, so helpful, kind and friendly without being overbearing. The breakfast was excellent. Varied, copious and good quality with something to suit every palate. The location was great too...there is a tram stop just outside (public transport is free at the weekends) and the centre is just a short walk across the bridge and past the hospital. There is paid parking but there are also some free spaces at the front of the hotel. I loved my stay and would thoroughly recommend the hotel. Thanks for a super time! février 2026

Negative: If I had to nit-pick I'd suggest they have toilet brushes and check regularly the conditioner bottle is topped up as I only discovered it virtually empty when I was in the midst of washing my hair.
