Positive: Beautiful castle with wonderful historical furnishings and decor. Excellent location to easily walk around center of the city. The room was nice and warm despite the cold and rain. Family room was large, quiet and comfy. Breakfast buffet was awesome! Afternoon snacks and drinks at bar were very good as we looked over the city view. Each staff member was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of comfortable common areas for relaxation or chatting with other guests if you are so inclined. The easy climb to the tower was a great way to see long distance views of the valley in all directions. The bathroom was good sized and fully equipped and stocked. We will return to continue to explore the area further. Thank you team Pousada!

Negative: Loved it all including the easy drive in and free parking right by door.

Summary: Terrific castle experience in the wonderful Alentejo!
