Positive: The location of the place is magnificent – beautiful old trees and a view on the river and the mountains. Breakfast and any other meals are simply a joy to have in the restaurant. The reception is super friendly and extremely professional – my personal highlight was that they were able to organize a train ticket to Luang Prabang in my absolutely preferred our on a train that seemed fully booked. I don't know how they managed, but it all worked perfectly out.

Negative: I had a ground floor room near to the reception and it was spacious. However, it was also a bit dark and quite noisy. You could hear the traffic from the street which leads to the little bridge over the river and they start to drive with their noisy engines in the very early morning hours.
